Realme GT 6T 5G
The Realme GT 6T marks an emphatic comeback for the GT lineup in India, introducing a distinctive dual-finish mirror panel on the rear. Holding the phone, its 191g weight feels remarkably balanced, while gentle rear curves allow for a comfortable, secure grip during extended sessions. The centerpiece is undoubtedly its breathtaking 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO display, which effortlessly achieves high outdoor visibility even under direct harsh sunlight. In daily handling, the device feels refined and fast, seamlessly transitioning between intense gaming sessions and multi-app workflows.
- ✓The 6.78-inch LTPO display offers exceptional outdoor visibility with peak brightness exceeding 1000 nits, ensuring clear readability even under direct sunlight.
- ✓The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset delivers flagship-level performance, handling intensive gaming and multitasking without thermal throttling, as verified in sustained load tests.
- ✓The 5500mAh battery provides all-day endurance, and the 100W SUPERVOOC charging refuels from 0 to 100% in just 28 minutes, a real-world verified convenience.
- ✓The dual-finish mirror panel not only looks premium but also resists fingerprints effectively, maintaining a clean aesthetic during daily use.
- ✕The plastic frame, despite the glass-like finish, compromises the premium feel and durability compared to metal-framed rivals.
- ✕The camera system, while capable in daylight, struggles in low-light conditions with noticeable noise and lack of optical image stabilization, leading to softer shots.
- ✕The device ships with Android 14 and Realme UI 5.0, but the update policy is limited to two major OS updates, which is shorter than competitors offering three to four years of support.

The Realme GT 6T is a compelling mid-range flagship that excels in display and performance, offering exceptional value for its price. However, its camera and software update limitations make it a tough sell for photography enthusiasts or those seeking longevity. If you can overlook these drawbacks, it's a solid choice; otherwise, consider alternatives like the Pixel 7a or OnePlus 12R.
