Sony WH-CH720N Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones
Slipping on the Sony WH-CH720N instantly reveals why lightweight design matters for daily commuters—at just 192 grams, it virtually disappears on your head during extended work sessions. While the all-plastic chassis feels slightly utilitarian upon unboxing, the soft synthetic leather ear cushions provide an exceptionally comfortable fit with balanced clamping pressure. Audio output punches far above its price tag, utilizing Sony's Integrated Processor V1 to deliver a warm, engaging sound signature with crisp vocal clarity. Active Noise Cancellation performance is top-tier for a budget canvas, effectively muting low-frequency engine rumbles and office ambience. Although the non-folding earcups require a bit more backpack room, the stellar 35-hour battery life with ANC active makes it a daily driver champion.

The Sony WH-CH720N offers outstanding value for its price, delivering top-tier battery life, comfort, and ANC performance that belies its budget positioning. While the plastic build and non-folding design are drawbacks, they are acceptable trade-offs for the exceptional performance. If you're seeking a reliable daily driver for commuting or work without breaking the bank, these are a strong contender. However, if you prioritize premium materials or portability, consider alternatives like the Sony WH-1000XM4 or Sennheiser Momentum 4.
